Player Eligibility

Play in all Divisions is open to everyone
USTA ranking or player ratings are not a consideration
A parent or legal guardian must play with their child in any parent/child division
Children cannot be 19 years of age prior to August 15, 2013. Brother and Sister division is open to all ages. There will be no age limit in this specific division.
Players may be required to show proof of age and relationship


Registration Process
One team player must fill out the Family Tennis Championship Registration Form and make payment online prior to participation. Team entry fee is $65 per division. A player may play in a maximum of two (2) divisions per local tournament. A team may participate in as many Local tournaments as they want. Each Local tournament requires payment of a separate $65 registration fee per team.

If a team participates in more than one Local tournament and is declared the champion of more than one Local tournament that team is eligible to participate in only one Super Regional Playoff for that division. The runner-up from the other Local tournament may be invited to advance as the Local champion.


Refund Policy

Refunds are permitted up until 14 days prior to the local tournament or due to tournament cancellation. In all cases, a $3 processing fee will be withheld.

Player Premiums and Awards
NFTC Player giveaway at all levels of play. Divisional Champion and runner-up awards at each level of play.

Advancement
Local Tournament winners will advance to Super Regional Playoffs.  Qualifying teams will advance to the Championships.  All qualifying teams will be invited to the National Championships to be held in New York in August 2013.  Each doubles team will be treated to complimentary stay (one room per team) featuring comfortable double room accommodations, daily breakfast and lunch, first class tennis facilities, tickets to sporting events and more.
